David Pendleton Obituary

"Together Again"
Magna, Utah-David Joseph Pendleton, age 77, died January 21, 2014 in Magna, Utah.
He was born on December 27, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alvin Freeman Pendleton and Theresa Long Pendleton. He married Sylvia Wynn on August 10, 1956. Dad joined his eternal mate and love of his life after being parted just 4 months.
He was passionate about golfing and missed it greatly in the last couple years of his life. David worked as a boiler maker for Kennecott Copper for many years. He was injured on the job which left him disabled for the past 31 years. He was a jack of all trades, loved yard work and tinkering in his garage. Dad was talented and had a good eye for wood and metal sculpturing and loved working alongside our Mom on many art projects.
Survived by his children, Stephen (Vickie), Bernice (Gary) Kimber, Tim (Jayne), Wendy (Billy) Jackson, and Tom (Jill); 12 beautiful grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren who he loved to hold and give Eskimo kisses; sister, Nola Cole. Preceded in death by wife of 57 years, Sylvia; parents and brother, Alvin and sister, Catherine.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan with a viewing one hour prior.
He will be greatly missed but we know he is healthier and happier with his sweetheart.
