David Sharp Obituary

David Wayne Sharp 1960 ~ 2007 VERNAL- David Wayne Sharp, cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend, returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Aug. 18, 2007 while at work. He was born on November 26, 1960 in Richfield, Utah, the youngest of eight children born to Loyd Alan and Barbara Case Sharp. He married Elizabeth "Liz" Tomlinson on Aug. 30, 1980 in Bountiful, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a loving and devoted husband and father of 10 and the proud grandfather of eight. His family was always the most important thing in his life. Nothing brought him more joy than nurturing, supporting, and encouraging them to always do their best. He believed that example was the finest teacher. He was a dependable and diligent worker holding various positions in the mining industry before becoming an owner of Center Fire Trucking. He instilled his strong work ethic in his children. In his spare time, you could find him with his family fishing, hunting, singing, coaching, 4-wheeling, barbecuing, enjoying Sunday dinners, and living life to the fullest. He is survived by the love of his life, Liz and their children, Kristen Smith (Jim), Patrick (Aileen), Ashley, David Aaron (Jennifer), Eric, Kimberly, McKenzie, Evan, Levi, and Wyatt; grandchildren, Lizzy, Jimmy, Kaycee, Dalton, Coby, Cody, Aidyn, and Alexander; mother, Barbara Case Sharp; brothers and sisters, Bob, Ronald (Janice), Kelly (Jean), Steven (DeLoa), William (Charmaine), and Roxanne Abney (John). He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Alan Sharp; sister, Linda; and dear friend, Dale McClaren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 23rd, 2007 at the Ashley- Maeser Chapel, 2575 N. 1500 W. Vernal. Viewings will be held at the Thomson- Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, 15 E. 100 N. Wed. August 22, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. and at the chapel one hour prior to services. His smiling face and positive influence will be missed by all. Families Are Forever.

Family of David Sharp
I am so sorry about your loss. I don't have the words to express. With time and miles apart we have not kept in touch, but I will always remember being David's next door cousin and having so much fun playing all the time when we were kids. He was my best friend when I was little.
I have always wished we would have kept in touch more. David was so much fun to be around.
I have attached a couple of pictures.
Sincerely,
Teena Sharp Suprise, Cousin
