David Stevens Obituary

David Curtis Stevens 1946 ~ 2004   David Curtis Stevens, 57, died at home April 3, 2004 in Salt Lake City. David was born on Oct 13, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Curtis Wilber Stevens and Florence Ayers Stevens. He attended Skyline High School and the University of Utah. David married Shonnie Lynn Reynolds on January 27, 1968 in Las Vegas, NV. He worked for Mountain Bell/AT&T for 33 years and retired in 1998. David had a life long interest in stamp collecting and left an impressive collection. He was a history buff and liked to read. He was a sports fan and loved to follow the University of Utah basketball and football teams. David enjoyed seeing his grandchildren and liked to know what adventures they were up to. He liked to travel and visited many places during his life. He enjoyed talking and spending time with friends and family. When he was younger, David enjoyed camping and four wheeling. David is survived by his wife, Shonnie, his son Chad (Holly), his daughter Jennifer Miller (Gary), his brothers, Brian and Robert (Carol) and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2004 at noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, located at 3401 Highland Drive. A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2004 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Interment is at Wasatch Lawn.

My sympathy to the Stevens Family.

I was very sorry to read of Dave's

death. I attended Skyline High School with Dave, we had several

classes together. I also saw him often when he was working for

'Mountain Bell' years ago !
