Debra Osborne Obituary

Debra (Debbie) Lyn Osborne

1958~2023

West Jordan, Utah-On March 27, 2023 our beautiful mother left this earth to fly with the angels after battling a very aggressive cancer surrounded by her loved ones at home. Debbie was born on February 21, 1958 to Carol Lee Doramus and Delbert Weeks Atkinson at America Fork Hospital. She was the oldest of four children all beloved sisters. She attended Cottonwood and Pleasant Grove High School and received her bachelor degree at University of Phoenix.

As a young child she loved to spend time at her grandpa Atkinsons barn in Pleasant Grove Utah where she developed her love for animals and spent many hours riding horses. Learning to barrel race & later joined the Bridletts Riding Club. Debbie had many talents, crocheting, making crafts, sewing, gardening, and cooking.

She was a loving mother to Brandi Lee Jolley (Michael) of Spring Creek Nevada, Billy Jo Lange of Payson Utah, Shanna Lyn Lange of Murray Utah, Serena Lange of Herriman Utah and her loving sisters, Malynda Kay Cloward and Laurie Jean Davis. She was loved and cherished by her 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She retired from Salt Lake County Youth Services. Along the way she met some terrific co-workers that made a huge impact and built friendships that were bonded until her last days.

During her recent battle of cancer, she fought courageously along the side of Dr. Frame, with the help and support from her AMAZING team.

An Extra Special thank you to her grandson Jayden, For the daily loving care he shown his grandmother until the very end. We are forever grateful for the care our mother and grandmother received from, Dr. Cannon, Jamie and Virginia. The family is forever grateful for caring and loving our mother and grandmother.

In her final days she was eagerly waiting to be reunited with her father Delbert, sister JaNele, Aunt Paulette, daughter Chantel and her beloved Brent as well as many loved ones and friends. Celebration of life will be held on April 3, 2023 at the LDS church house at 9227 South Wild Clover Lane West Jordan Utah, 84081 at 11:00am with viewing from 10:00 to 11:00am. So many fun memories, Debbie is my favorite work wife! We both had to deal with Michael and she did a fabulous job raising him. I can´t thank this lady enough for all she has done for Michael and our family. I know that she will continue to be a help to Michael. We love you Debbie and we love your sweet family. Until we meet again

Oh, So Sad, Debbie's mother and mine were friends. We had so many fun times with our mothers and younger sisters...It was such a surprise to learn when Debbie started working @ Youth Services with Brock...I often reflect and remember Debbie as a young child and think of her mother and sisters often-my younger sisters send their condolences as well. My prayers are with you Debbie, your mother and your family. / Pamala

Debbie was a dear co-worker. She loved doing a professional job in all her work endeavors. She always talked about her grandchildren and their activities she was going to watch. Debbie is dearly loved.
