To all of my Flitton Brothers:

I was so sad to learn of your father's passing.

When I think of you all I can truly say it has been my blessing to call you friends.

It all started in the second grade with play dates, the famous sand box, baseball, star wars figures, video games (you guys always had the cool stuff), bunking up with Chris and Jeff in the Flitton Wing, to a passion for Rush, rock concerts, burnouts in that awesome white convertible Mustang with red leather,Church dances & basketball, and fighting off all who would offend.

My memories recall those great little pancakes your mom would make, splitting a soda on hot day and Chris making sure they were even steven. There was always enough to share.

I gained a tremendous sense of humor, a love of music, self confidence, and strengthened my testimony spending time with my friends. When I think of you all, the Moores, the Gustasons and the Flittons, I can say that I love you all. But on this day lets give thanks to your father who left such a positive influence on his sons that it trickled down to a friend.

Life is beautiful. No doubt he will be sorely missed, but rest assured that your father's legacy will live on through you. I wish my family and I could join you today to share some memories, a man hug, some tears, and a laugh. Know my (our) thoughts are with you and that we love you and certainly appreciate all the blessings your father shared with us.

Im so sorry to hear of your loss. My father (ED Todd) has always spoke very highly of Don. And i remember there times together. My father had so much respect for Don and i know in my heart that the day he heard Don was joining him in Heaven my father was at the gate with his arms held open to meet and welcome a good friend home...Dons passing has touched so many people and even though i have not seen Don in a long time i remember all of the conversations my father has had about Don and you boys. God Bless all of you ~ this very difficult time and remember the love and the times that you shared~ every day that goes past i still miss my father i wish for just one more day!
I don't think that you ever get over your loss, just stay close and be there for each other. Thats what Don would want you to do.

I can't believe it!!
To Aunt Karen, the boys & all of the family I want you all to know how much I love you! Uncle Don was the most vibrant, funny & loving man I think I have ever met. Growing up just a few doors down with Dan & Jerry hold some of the fondest moments and memories of my life. He could always manage to get the ones he loved together for a party (or maybe it was Aunt Karen). Uncle Don will surely be missed, but I know the plan of salvation & the reunion he must be having in heaven right now with all of those who have gone before him! Gramma Moore & Gramma Flitton, His 2 brothers Arvin & Jimmy, 2 Sisters Arlene & Bernice and Aunt Colleen!! All I can say is how much joy this entire family has given me, I'm proud to be a part of it!! Thank you Uncle Don for all of your love & support through out the years!
