Emma Forsyth Obituary

Emma Smith Forsyth 1913 ~ 2004  Our sweet, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and forebearers on January 7, 2004. She was born on a ranch in Manassa, Colorado of goodly parents where she learned the principle of hard work and integrity. Her life was blessed with two devoted children who honored and loved her very much. Emma was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and gladly served in a number of callings. She found joy and beauty in the simple things of life.  She is survived by her loving children; Richard (Glenna) Forsyth and Nancy (Garry) Marshall; sister, Mary Jackson; brother, Morris Smith eight grandchildren, 10 great-grand children and many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and her children's father. Memorial services will be Monday, January 12, 2004, 11 a.m. at the Briarwood Ward, 950 North Main Street, Centerville. Friends and family may call Sunday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Lake View Memorial Park, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr. Bountiful, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Lakeview Memorial Park, Bountiful. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the kind and gentle care of Dr. Gottlieb and staff and Pat of the Caring Hands Hospice.
