Not only did I work on Mother baby with Brynn, she was my nurse after giving birth when I was incredibly sick. Although I knew that Brynn was a good nurse from working with her I didnt realize the depth of her compassion and patience until I was her patient. I am heartsick and so sad over this world losing her, and my thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

I just loved Brynn! Such a sweet and gracious person. My best memory of her is when she was in my art class and she wanted to do a portrait of her little brother, Jeffrie. She worked so hard to get it just right. I knew there was a lot of love behind her work. How lucky we all are to have known such a lovely lady!

I first met Brynn when I was pregnant with my twins and she worked with Dr. Barton. A few year later we met again in physiology at SLCC. She was always so sweet and kind. I am so sorry for your loss. I was so shocked to hear of Brynn's death. We started on this unit just a month apart and I enjoyed working with her so much. She did more in 24 years than most of us will do in our long lives. She was a true inspiration. We'll miss you Brynn :o)

We had the joy and privilege of Brynn's company when we supervised the U. of U. student trip to India in 2007. She was lovely, compassionate and endured small hardships on the trip with great humor and patience! I ran into Brynn a couple of years ago in a hallway at the U. Med Center. I was thrilled to hear of her progress on her nursing degree, and am so happy she realized that dream. Our love is with you. Knowing Brynn as we did, understanding her big heart and deep love and concern for those less fortunate in the world, we feel your grief and loss. Thank you for sharing your beautiful daughter with the world. And that world will miss her.

Although I did not know Brynn personally, her father and grandfather have been a part of my life since the day I was born. I work with Jessica Rowe, and we’ve become close in the short while she’s worked here; understand youth makes it so very tender, but have lost both parents myself and know, too, very special loss!
Understanding the hole left behind, and the tender tragedy of so full a life cut so short, I must cling to "The Plan"; pray this helps some wee bit...to allow... enable...the grief! So truly sorry to hear about Brynn...best friend...beloved by y’all. Trust she’s now, at least, at peace with our Lord...definitely keepin’ y’all in prayers for the Grace and Tender Mercy I lean on so heavily at times like these!
When my mother died, even after a years-long battle with cancer, I was shattered by the loss...inconsolable...she was my mentor! I like to think that I got my character from my father, but my mind and its capacity from m’dear sainted mother!!! BUT, "If your faith assures you she's in heaven, then what are the tears all about?!?" I hold eternity dearly close...a cherished, hard-won prize...but, in the interim, that answer lies below.
