Gene will be missed by so many people. We will miss his smiling face his jokes and his laughter. The day he left us, up on our roof was a beautiful mallard. I truly believe this was his way of telling us that he is ok. :) The mallard stayed on our roof long enough for us to take a couple of pictures and then he was gone. Gene will fly in the skys and look over all of us until we all meet again. Devin will especially miss the flicks in the ear and all of the teasing. You will always be in our hearts and we will miss you so much.

To Red, his family, & his many friends.
Even 20 years and being hundreds of miles apart, have not faded our friendship.
If RED were only 1/2 as nice, he would still be twice as nice as anyone I've ever known.
I miss you. My eyes water and burn... The lump in my throat wont go away...
Remembering the last time we spent together, 14 years ago, is still like yesterday.
Kathie and I came back home, visiting in Salt Lake. We just had to see my old roommate.
You had a long hard day at work. You were tired... and you still managed to have a few laughs, and beers while my 2 year old daughter (Breanne) rolled around in the front yard with your adorable new puppy. That was awesome..
One of my best BUDS and like a big brother to Kathie.
I will be visiting Alaska this year and will drop something of Reds in the Alaska wilderness. Every Hunter and Fishermans dream.
THANKS FOR BEING YOU.
WE WILL MEET AGAIN.
YOUR FRIEND,
TIM

To My Brother

On April 21,2008 the world lost a very good man his name was Eugene.

His profession was a tile setter a job he enjoyed. He liked hanging around with family and friends. Just about every one that met him grew to love him.

Although he died to early in life, he would take the best fishing trips that most of us could only dream about, while on these trips he would be his best people,as he would tell me.

Gene also enjoyed duck hunting with his best friend, Lady his yellow lab, He was heart broken when Lady passed away.

Now he has rejoined Lady, along with all the family members that passed before him. So now he is under God's care. I know in our hearts that he is having the greatest adventures of all.

Now I would like the world to know that Gene

"Gone Hunting"

We will miss you little brother

RED
You touched my heart.
I am still mad about my pink shirt though but now I will cherish it thinking of you - you big lug. I wore it on monday in loving memory of you and caught myself smiling all throughout the day. "Does this shirt make me look fat?"
You were the friend that everyone hoped to have and Todd and I feel very lucky that we did.
My lasting memory of you - a great big smile, booming voice, fishing pole in hand, a barbeque cooking up something on the back of your boat, Lady at your side and surrounded by family and friends.
Love ya buddy!

Dear Gene,

My heart is breaking that we will never see you again here on Earth. You live on in your family, your nieces, nephews, cousins, and all of the following generations. You have always placed family and friends first. You will have a special place in heaven watching over those you cared for during your all to short time here. I know Uncle Don will be glad to see you. I know I don’t need to pray for you, just those of us left here with an empty space in our hearts.

Love,
your sister-in-law

If I were a duck or a fish I might be happy today, but as a friend I am deeply saddened. The ducks and fish will continue to breed and replentish the lakes and ponds and they will have one less happy hunter on their backs or fins or tail feathers. Yet now we are left without one of our most precious gifts of life. a freind , the laughter, the spontanious moments, the love, the memories, GOD BLESS all of the family and freinds who knew this special person. The last time I saw UNCLE GENE we were with two of our best freinds. Nothing can replace the time we spent with him or the moments of joy. Once again GOD BLESS Gene the family and all of those who were lucky enough to have met this great man.

Well gotta say, this is really hard to express in just a few words, but to all of Red's family and friends, especially his friends who were members of his extended family (you know who you are), we just wanted to let you all know how much joy and sometimes uncontrollable laughter Red brought to our lives. There may never be anyone we meet again who sincerely was incredibly, and amazingly optimistic. Red was always smiling, spreading his contagious laugh, or beating us with his quick one liners! We will miss him at the pig roasts, or any other "Jack gathering"(sometimes on any ordinary Tuesday night!). The tile work he so masterfully laid will be with many of us forever. Our love goes out to all of you who loved Red. We will miss him tons!

Red,
You will be truely missed by so many. I will miss seeing you at the tile companies. You always brightened my day with your jokes and fishing and hunting stories. We had some great times ice fishing so many years ago back when I was your tile helper. You are a master of your trade and a great teacher and always made work enjoyable. Catch all the fish you can up there. I wish your family all the best in these times.
Forever a friend,

My deepest sympathies go out to Gene’s family. While I had not kept in contact with Gene over the years, I often thought about him and wondered where he was and what he was doing. He was a good man and while our relationship didn’t work out, I have wonderful memories from both Utah and California that I will never forget. I still have the bike that he gave me for my birthday and I will think of him, remembering his great big smile and his laughter, whenever I ride. Gene had a great love of life and I know that he loved his family very much. Through the years we were together, he loved my daughter as if she was his own. He gave much and asked for little. May you remember his awesomeness and feel his loving arms around you always!

"RED DOG" YOU WILL BE DEARLY MISSED
BY ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! WE HAD SOME GREAT TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND ALTHOUGH WE HAVEN'T SEEN YOU FOR A WHILE, YOU WERE ALWAYS IN OUR THOUGHTS. YOU WERE SUCH A CRAFTSMAN AT TILE AND DID SUCH A BEAUTIFUL JOB ON LAYING THE SALTILLO TILE IN OUR FIRST HOME. WE HAD SOME GOOD TIMES AT ALL THE BARBECUES AND LOOKING WAY BACK WHEN WE WENT DOWN TO ROSARITO MEXICO WITH FRIENDS AND ENJOYED THE VIEWS OF THE PACIFIC AT CALAFIA. THAT WAS WHEN YOUR HAIR WAS REALLY "RED"!
YOU BOUGHT TROY AND I OUR FIRST REAL GAS BBQ GRILL WHEN WE GOT MARRIED, AND WE TALK ABOUT THAT EVERYTIME WE NEED TO BUY A NEW ONE. YOU LOVED TO FISH AND TROY RECALLS THE STORY OF WHEN YOU TWO WENT FISHING IN OUR BOAT AND YOU WERE DRIVING UP THE CANYON WITH A FLAT TIRE AND SOMEONE HAD TO PASS YOU GUYS AND TELL YOU THAT THE TIRE WAS FLAT.
MAY YOU BE FREE NOW AND CATCH ALL THE FISH YOU WANT! WE LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU DEARLY. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US IN SPIRIT!
YOUR FRIENDS,
LEANN & TROY
