Eva Pollock Obituary
Eva Marion White Pollock, 89, passed away in Richfield at the home of her daughter on September 5, 2013. She was born December 15, 1923 in Salt Lake City to Alfred Henry and Johannah Marie Cardall White. She married David Larvin Pollock Nov. 27, 1942 in the Lion House in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple by Harold B. Lee. He preceded her in death September 16, 2012.
Eva was raised in Salt Lake City, and raised her family in both Salt Lake City and Tropic. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully in many capacities.
She is survived by her children, David (Kathryn) Pollock, Gerald (Carol) Pollock, Maureen (Ronald) Reed, William (Stacey) Pollock, Juanita (Reynold) Price, Marion (Blake) Allen, Pauline (Brent) Allen. 43 grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Vertis (Lester) Clark, DeVar Pollock, Vera White. She is also preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elginora White, Velma (John) Wozab, LaVon (Victor) Bird, Alfred (Jewel) White, Dorothy (Delwyn) Goff, and (Lowell) Meacham; Herbert (Merelda) White; Joseph White
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Tropic Heritage Center, 20 N. Main, on Friday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Tropic Cemetery. Dear Dave and Kathryn: It is always sad to have a loved one leave us and pass on to the next life. You have my love and thoughts at this time. Harold K. Monson (Dora Goulding Monson husband)It will be 4 years this next Christmas Eve that Dora passed on).

A dear "Angel on Earth" has now joined her beloved, Larvin. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family now but we know she is finally at peace and once again in the arms of loved ones. Eva and Larvin were second parents to Rob as he was growing up and he loved them both dearly as well as all of his Tropic cousins. The town of Tropic will never be the same but we know Larvin and Eva's legacy will live through their beautiful children, and grandchildren. Sending our love, Robert and Leslie White
