The Fonnesbeck Family,

I just heard about the passing of Frank and wanted to send you my condolences. I'm sorry I missed the funeral. I was his secretary at USF&G for about five years and I enjoyed working for him. He was always very good to me. We also kept in touch after he retired by sending Christmas card greetings to each other which I enjoyed very much.

To Chris and the Fonnesbeck Family, our sympathy to you. We met your father on two occasions and were impressed at his great love of scouting. Chris has followed in his father's footsteps with may contributions to scouting in our area.

Chris and Family,

We extend to you our prayers and sympathies at the passing of your father. Chris, after reading your father's obituary and knowing you as we did for so many years when we lived in the Avenues, it is easy to see the influence of this great man in your life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Such a treasure will be missed until you are with him again. I remember clear back in the 1960's when my sister Karren and Annette were friends, your dad was alwasy so nice to me when I came up with Karren. He always had a piece of candy hidden so that I could have one. He always made me laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
