He was my favorite teacher in elementary school. I was a shy kid in his 3rd grade class in 1979. He was tough, but I knew he cared a great deal for his students.

I have known Frank for several years. He has always been a kind compassionate man. What hardships he faced because of divorce, but the love of a son and daughter, who had not always been with him, gave him such joy and helped him develop compassion to help comfort and succor others as the savior did. What a wonderful and kind man.
When his daughter died in an accident the glimmer in his eyes dimmed so much. How grateful he was for his son's choice to live close by him. He will be missed and has already been missed by many who benefited from his love. What an example of a Christlike man.

I remember Frank as a talented youth speaker in the 9th ward church meetings. Ria and I also remember you as our personal chauffer when we left the Park Stake Center where Mel and I attended the Dutch reunion and where I met my wife Ria. You'll always be remembered. Al and Ria Vandenhazel

I remember Frank from growing up on Denver Street. He was my Sunday School teacher when I was about twelve. He was a fun teacher and he was kids liked him. Frank and my grandfather were the few people that called me my nickname of "Betsey". I always thought that that was special!
As I look back to my childhood on Denver Street, I was truly blessed to have great neighbors like the Schetselaars. Gordon was also my Sunday School teacher. The Schetselaar family were diligent in serving our Lord and were great examples.
It has been nice to touch base with Colleen via Facebook recently.
My sincere condolences to your family.

My condolences to you as his family. I was extreemly impressed with Frank when I met him at singles events 30? years ago. He was a happy person, forgetting himself and making every effort to make others happy and comfortable in social and church situations. May the Lord bless you at this tender time Rebecca Lewis
