Gerri was my faithful indexer and family history doer. So glad I was able to get home from our mission in time to visit with her again and share my homemade bread with her. What an example of faith no matter her circumstances. She will be missed.

I loved sitting down with Geri and doing family history work. The whole computer world was difficult for her, but we did crank out and clean up a few good things. She was a delight to work with.

We have been friends with Gerri since she became our neighbor in 1996. We have enjoyed Bar-b-ques, visits, shopping time, dinners, lunches Gerri was a great cook), visiting teaching together, walks, puzzles, playing board games, watching movies, teaching together in Primary and especially our time spent Eden, Utah during the fall. We have appreciated our friendship over the years and will miss being with Gerri in person; however, she will always be in our heart and in our memories.

Love you Aunt Geri! I pray for peace and God's strength and comfort for the family and friends close to you during this season. My dad was Geri's brother. Here are some memories that I would like to share:
I remember pictures of when my family went to your home in Chicago where my brother and I were swimming in your pool and it was so cold (I was 7 years old). Aunt Geri would say, let them swim, we will dry them off and heat them up when they are done.
Uncle Keith and Aunt Geri visited when I was 10 or 11 and we all went to Tweetsie Railroad and Grandfather mountain. Aunt Geri was the best hugger and always winked when I looked her way. Uncle Keith took out a $100 bill and it was the first one I had ever saw (I thought, he has to be the richest man in the world).
When I was a teenager my dad took us to their home in Largo, FL where they had retired and Aunt Geri set an amazing table for us, the salad plates and forks were chilled and the dinner plates were warmed and everything was so beautifully arranged. Uncle Keith would tell us stories and joke with us, he made us laugh. Aunt Geri would talk about how she made the food and her smile was infectious. I enjoyed those meals with them.
I recently as an adult visited Aunt Geri and my cousins in SLC and had the best time reminiscing and hearing stories of my dad's childhood. I will treasure that time always.
