Ginger Lundevall Obituary

Ginger Hammond Lundevall Together Again   On November 20, 2003, our sweet mother Ginger Lundevall, 79, was called home. She was a beautiful, gracious woman who was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mom was born on June 28, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Gene and Bertha Hammond. She graduated from South High and attended Utah State University. She married Roger Lundevall in the Logan Temple Aug. 1, 1947. They spent 55 wonderful years together. Mom was active in the LDS Church where she served in many callings. Her favorite calling was teaching the Sunbeam class. She had great faith in her Heavenly Father and knew that he was watching over her. Her testimony of the gospel and love for the Savior radiated from her as she lovingly served her family and others. She endured life's problems with grace, patience, and dignity, without complaint. Mom's loves were: Dad, family, her sisters, little children, the outdoors, hot dogs, shopping, and Costco. Survived by her children, Brent Lundevall, Robynn Urry, and Bobbett Mower, four sisters, 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, husband, and a grandson. A viewing will be held Sunday evening, Nov. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT Services will be Monday, Nov. 24 at the Butler 4th Ward Chapel, 6634 Greenfield Way (1900 E) at 11:00 am. with a viewing one hour prior.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 350 S. 400 E., SLC, UT 84111
