Glade Leon Parduhn, 67, died peacefully January 19, 2012 after a valiant six-month battle with cancer. He was born February 24, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leon Russell and Laura Ione Parduhn. He married Nedra Nelson on June 10, 1968. She died on September 26, 2002. Glade served his country in the US Army, including a year of service in Vietnam. He loved golf, hunting and fishing. He owned two service stations, and spent his career servicing autos. Glade is survived by his sister, Marsha Oldroyd Nicholson, and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nedra, and his brother Brent. Services will be held Wednesday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St. Friends may gather at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South. The family expresses thanks to the staff of the VA Hospital, and Mt. Olympus care center for their fine services. www.goffmortuary.com

Dear Marsha, So sad about Glade's passing. He was always so fun and all of the girls in our class had a secret crush on him. He was certainly a good man and he will be missed. Marsha, I was sad to hear of Glades passing. Glade was one of the "Good Ol Boys". We had great times when a Service Station ment, real "Service". We will all miss him greatly.

Papa will be missed.Glade was a true friend. I find great comfort in the belief that Glade is now once again with his dear Nedra.
