1929 - 2016
Born April 26, 1929, Harry passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on June 15, 2016. He was a proud Navy Veteran. Harry was married to Kathy (Riddles) from 1952-2015, together they raised five children, Karen (Jon) Hundley, Cliff Atkinson, Patty (Scott) Schafbuch, Craig Atkinson and Steve Atkinson.
Harry had five grand-children, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dottie Deal and Agnes Reeme. He had many beloved nieces and nephews.
We are so thankful to Dr. Josef Prchal, the VA Hospital and First Choice Hospice. We are also very grateful to Valerie Shaw for the excellent care she provided.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd (10600 South). Graveside Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp William Rd, Bluffdale, UT.

I remember Harry as a stalwart man. A man of strength, principle and good humor. He was curious and intelligent, a master storyteller with an enticing laugh and ever a twinkle in his eye. I remember late night poker games after a day of fishing and working at Harry and Kathy's ranch in Eastern Utah.
