Dear Helen and family, . How I cherish our experiences together as members of the Ensign Ward, you, Maureen and others. Carolyn. Your reunion with your sainted Mother and Father, and to be reunited with Al seem to make the journey a pleasant one. Love

Helen and Al were dear friends of my brother Dug and his wife JoAnn Grimes since 1960 when "the girls" worked together at Deseret Federal. Please accept our sincere sympathy at the loss of your dear Helen. She was a joy to visit..always smiling and upbeat! Our family looks forward to continuing our association with Helen and Al beyond the veil. With love, Rich and Linda Grimes

OMG her smile and twinkling eyes are what will be sorely missed....She was my 'workmom'....and was a mother hen to many at LDSH....She could take my scribbles and turn them into a work of art...Feeling sad... xoxo

My condolences to the Carpenter family. For many years it was a pleasure to associate with your family in the Ensign 1st Ward. and with Helen at the LDS Hospital. May you feel peace and comfort at this time because of the Lord's plan of happiness and our knowledge of the Gospel. I apologize for not coming to the viewing or funeral, but my health has limited me much more than I would desire.

Helen spread joy and good in all that she did and said. She was/is a delightful friend who lived valiantly and positively. Please know that I loved her and valued her friendship. She was kind, loving, cheerful and positive. All who knew her will miss her.
When we went to lunch she would almost always order liver. I'll never forget her.
