Although I didn't know Uncle Howard very well, my dear husband, Michael, was quite fond of him. He visited us in California one year, and we had a wonderful time with him. Now I believe that he and Michael are reunited in Heaven where there is no pain or sadness. I'll bet Michael was at the gate to greet him!

Sleep well, Uncle Howard, and give my love to Michael when you see him.

With love & affection, Jane Adams

Uncle Howard;
Thanks for letting me drive for the first time (all of my brothers and sisters, too,) thanks for my first drink of whisky, first taste of copenhagen (the only taste I ever had, godawful stuff) thanks for letting me shoot a gun, hunt pheasants (even hens) and for not chewing me out when I raked the hay into zigzag rows. You were so tolerant of all of our goofy childhood antics on the farm, so patient and loving, the favorite uncle of all.
Rest in Peace

Uncle Howard, I am saddened by your depature. In my eyes, I see this as aunt Cora's calling for being reunited. You are in a better place now free from fighting where you and aunt Cora can continue your journeys together. I sure enjoyed the days we had at the peacock house ill call it. I was very young back than but remember each and every time we were there with comfort. You will be missed by all and by me. Tell aunt Cora hi for me until we all meet again. Love you both. RIP. ....Brandon

Uncle I will always miss the Sunday phone calls, your advise, the laughs we had together, and all the times we have spent together. What I will miss most is when we were going to hang up from talking is you saying "Love you Son". You were a strong willed man with a very caring heart. You will always be missed in my heart! Also, I want to say Thank You for everything you and Auntie did for our family while we were growing up. Love you! Vic
