How could this be that I am just reading this now Shim. I hope you understood what an important friend you were. Sure wish you weren't fishing in Montana last time I wanted to get in touch. Your memory lives on and I was lucky to know you.

I knew Jim as crawl dad. Do to the first time shanking his hand.back when I just a pup pretty close to 25 yrs ago. Being that I´ve worked on few of the decks on the boats he was chief on. He would always say what did you break now lol. I was sad to hear Jim left us. He was a good teacher. A good friend. I knew from the first boat I worked on. The Alaskan rose then the legacy even the SF. He´ll be missed my me. He was a good man

I found out about this very Sad passing yesterday from a dear friend. I can't stop reminiscing when I played little league baseball at Lindsey Gardens. First with Dave and Coach Harvey Fox then with John and Jamie with Coach Riggs. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Fox family who were a big part of my life growing up on the Avenues and at Cathedral of the Madeline..RIP James.

I will miss Jamie so much, his sense of humor, sense of adventure, and non judgmental nature. He was the best friend anyone could ask for growing up in the avenues. We lost touch for a minute but were able to reconnect last year. A dear friend and brother. Please let me know when his celebration of life takes place, I would not want to miss it for anything!

My condolences to the Fox family and to all who loved Jim. I only met him a couple of times but I almost feel that I grew up with the Foxes as I heard so much about Harvey and his family from their aunt, Virginia Harkness. Such a vibrant clan! This, on top of losing your father last winter, must be very difficult. My best to you all as you navigate this loss.

I wish to express my condolences to the Fox family and friends for the passing of Jamie. My memories of Jamie are that he was always friendly, pleasant and courteous. My children who knew him said he was fun and they enjoyed spending time with him.
May you Rest In Peace Jamie. I would think you were greeted joyfully by your mom and dad and other loved ones who have gone before you.

When a friend dies, I say to his or her survivors the simple Irish condolence, "Sorry for your troubles."
Today, to my family, I say, "Sorry for our troubles."

My thoughts are filled with amazing memories of our years of adventures. From the little experiences like sitting on the porch of the little Moab house counting side by sides passing, running through the sprinklers at the hotel in Tucson, to the big ones like the road trip to Alamos to close on your house. Taking me to Burning Man. Showing me some of the best of Utah's beautiful places. Exploring Organ Pipe monument together. I am grateful and blessed you shared with me some of your favorite places and closest family and friends. You will be missed greatly by the many who love you. I know wherever you are you are with Harv and he's making sure you are well.
