We were saddened to learn of the death of our friend, Jim Strozier, who taught with me in the Mechanics Dept at the United States' Military Academy at West Point from 1965 to 1968. Jim and his wife Doris were good friends, and their daughter Kathy was in our daughter Cindy's school class. I remember Jim as being very bright, energetic, easy going, and someone you were happy to be around. We send our sympathy to Doris and the rest of the family.

It was an honor to be taught by Dr. Strozier at the UofU. He was my undergraduate advisor. He always had a smile and eased my concerns about school, career, life, etc. I remember him playing racket ball during lunch but he always made time for me. My life is richer because of Dr. Jim Strozier. Until we meet again!

It was a pleasure knowing Jim thru our association with the Third Saturday Night Dance club. He was always smiling and had wonderful conversations. We have missed him.
