Jason Cranfill Obituary

Jason James Cranfill

1979 ~ 2023

Jason James Cranfill, 43 of Littleton, Colorado sadly passed away April 25, 2023. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 22, 1979 to Ron and Carol Stover Cranfill. He was welcomed by his sister Angie, brother Jeremy and later on his sister Aimee completed our family.

Raised in Utah growing up in the Taylorsville/Bennion area, he attended Bennion Elementary, Bennion Jr High, Cottonwood HS and graduated from Copper Hills HS in 1997. He had a childhood filled with good friends, playing sports, scouting, camping and boating. Later on, he also enjoyed golfing, snowboarding and riding his dirt bike. A wood shop class in high school sparked an interest and talent for carpentry, he made some beautiful pieces of furniture. Jason had a passion for music and loved playing his guitars.

In 2002 Jason became a father when his son, Kasin James Cranfill was born. He was so proud and helped raise him to become a good man. They shared a common interest in so many things and loved playing guitar and singing together. Kasin is now serving our country in the United States Marine Corp. They recently spent a week together in California before Kasin left on his first deployment.

Working together on a business idea with his brother over the years, he moved to Colorado in 2009. Along with working in manufacturing and customer service fields, he finished his career in the carpentry/millwork industry. Pass times in Colorado included camping and fishing, Colorado Rockies and Avalanche, music at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He was a lifelong Utah Jazz and Miami Dolphins fan.

He has been a joy to all of us and losing him is truly a tragedy. In registering to be a donor, Jason has selflessly changed the lives of 7 recipients in need. *Please consider a gift in his memory to the Donor Alliance Foundation at 200 Spruce Street, Suite 200 Denver, CO 80230

Survived by his son Kasin (Paige) Cranfill; parents Ron and Carol Cranfill; siblings Angie (Tyrone) Martin, Jeremy (Christina) Cranfill, Aimee Cranfill; and extended family. He held a special place in his heart for both Julie and Melissa.

I remember when I had been painting my living room and Jason and Julie volunteered to paint the ceiling for me. It helped me so much! He was such a thoughtful and considerate person.
