Jerry Miner Obituary

JerryMiner "Always in our heart"  Our loving father, Jerry Richard Miner, 57, passed away Dec. 5, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born Sept. 25, 1946 in Bakersfield, CA to John Roundy Miner and Alta Elsie Jane Hawkins. He was married to Jacqueline Eileen Smith (deceased). He spent the last 11 years with Linda Phelps, his better half. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years, and retired as a Master Chief. He was general manager for Circle M Enterprises for 12 years. Survived by sons, Paul and Michael; daughter, Janette Marie; grandchildren, Carolyn, Brayden, Michael Jr., Miranda, and Haley; brother, Jack; and sister, Doris. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Valera and Mary Jo; and brother, Ronald. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends, who loved him. Funeral services Wednesday, Dec 10, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Butler West Stake Center, 1845 East 7200 South. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, and Wednesday at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville.
