Jerry was drummer in a band about 1960. He quit to go to broadcast school. I lost track of him. He was a very cool guy. Proud to say a friend of mine. Sorry to all that miss him as I do.

When we started Sign Pro some 13 years ago, I can't think of anyone I would rather have been in business with, than Jerry. He was a person I had respect for and trusted. He was dedicated beyond what was expected. He worked hard and he loved his work. For a small business to last for 13 years requires skill and dedication. I will not only miss him as a business partner, but as a friend for over 30 years. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. I hope we can continue to grow at Sign Pro. We owe this to Jerry. He will be missed more than I can say in words.

I have many great memories over the years and will remember them forever.

Love always, Ken

Donna,

I want you to know how much I loved Jerry and you. You both opened your hearts to me and I feel blessed to have been so close to both of you. You really made me feel welcome in your lives, personal and professional. Thank you.

Jerry was one of a kind. He taught me many, many things. If I had to sum Jerry up in one word, I would have to say integrity. He taught me that it is important to be able to "laugh & scratch" with your clients and when it comes time to work, get it done! I learned many valuable lessons from Jerry that I will never forget.

Jerry loved his family. He always talked about how much he loved you and how proud he was of his kids. He told me once that he felt very lucky to have found you and that he didn't know what he would ever do without you.

Please let me know if you need anything. I would love to be there for you as you two were there for me. And, again, thank you so much for sharing both of your hearts with me. I love you both.

love, Kim

Dear Donna and Family,

Yesterday's funeral was such an inspiration---the family really came through to create a most touching memorial to one of the most kind, generous and hard working individuals I've ever known. As the shock of Jerry's sudden demise wears down a bit, I hope memories of the words and stories of family and friends like Larry Richardson help bring the smile back to your faces. All the best,

Everyone from the Wendover Airfield Museum would like to extend our heart felt condolences to Jerry's family. Jerry was such a wonderful man to work with - if it is on a sign at the museum, Jerry made it possible - the air show this year won't be the same without him there. Beyond that, Jerry truly cared for people. When one of our volunteers was called to duty in Afghanistan, Jerry never failed to ask how he was doing and mention how proud he was of this young man. Again, our hearts and prayers go out to his family.

Jerry was a family friend long before he was a boss. I spent five years working with this man and I can say I never met a better salesman. He treated his customers like royalty and his employees like family. This is a sad shock.
