Irene, This is Ms. Gallegos from Beacon Heights Elementary. I believe I worked with Jesse when he was 5. I now work at a middle school. If it is the same young man, he was a joy to me and had a great spirit to share and his beautiful smile. I still have the hand prints he made for me. May God bless you and your family. Ms. Gallegos

My heart aches for those Jesse has left behind. He was truly an inspiration and a joy to know. I am bereft and saddened by this tragic loss. My love and support go out to you.

Irene, I can only imagine a tiny part of the pain of losing a son. And, even that tiny part leaves me shattered. My thoughts are of you and I hope that you will find some measure of peace and acceptance in the love of your family and friends.

We are all truly broken-hearted to learn of sweet Jesse's passing. Since the day Irene brought him home from the hospital, Jesse has been my most towering example of courage and strength. My whole family took you into our hearts and as we watched you grow, your fighting spirit and silly remarks captured our soul. I tried to be a good uncle for you. My deepest sympathy to Irene, Tani, Aunt Donna, Mark and all the other family and friends of Jesse.
Forever in our hearts, 'Unca' Brett and the Hardcastle Family

I remember Jesse as a student at Emerson Elementary. He did have an infectious smile and laugh and was always so positive, despite his challenges. My thoughts and prayers are with you Irene and Tani.
