2014 ~ 2017
Jeter Johannes deJong gained his angel wings March 26, 2017 after a hard fought battle with Tay Sachs disease. His final days were spent surrounded with family who loved him more than words could describe. Jeter's life may have been cut too short, but he made sure to leave his mark on this world.
Jeter was born July 9, 2014 in Murray, UT to Christy Lee Brinson and Cody deJong. Jeter loved being surrounded by his family and being a big brother. Disney, Mickey Mouse, taking baths, singing time, and making others smile were some of his favorite things
Even though Jeter was never able to speak, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Jeter knew that his purpose here on Earth was to show everyone who came in contact with him the true meaning of love. Jeter possessed great strength which inspired all who met him. His perfect smile and infectious laugh will be missed every day. He is our angel baby and our "bestest ever."
Jeter is survived by his parents, brother Declan deJong, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends

We love you and we'll miss you, but we know we will be together again for all eternity. Mom and dad love you so much Jeetbug!
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) with a viewing held from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
