You have always been one of my favorite people! You added so much fun to the tour we did of all the archaeological sites. You were a blast on the bus! I miss you more than you can know, and I will never forget you and how much fun we had! I don´t think you knew, but I am a prepper just like you! More so now than ever! My neighbors think I´m crazy, but you and I know better. Not to mention that I only live about 30 km from one of the largest active volcanoes in the world. You never know when you´re going to have to stay in your house for a very, very long time! lol. I love and miss you, my dear friend. I will catch up with you sooner or later, and we will have plenty to talk about!

I'm so very sorry!! At least I got to help play a part in guiding her around to all the archaeological sites. She was so much fun, and we all had a BLAST! If you have any pix of her from that trip, when things settle down please tag me on a few. Because I was always lecturing, I never got a chance to use my camera. Lots of love to you and your family, and we will continue to keep in touch.

We are sad to learn of Josie's passing but what a welcoming party she must be having on the other side...
Josie and I (Yvette) shared so much about Family History, genealogy as we called it at the time, harvesting relatives and getting their Temple work done. We worked together in a Sunday School workshop, helping and encouraging people in their research. I think that it was Josie's idea, one Sunday in a workshop that Alan attended,to write a letter in order to obtain information... Alan wrote a letter to the Editor of Lerwick (Shetland Islands) newspaper, asking for contacts with possible relatives, just prior to his first visit to the Shetland Island. The editor himself was a relative and published Alan's letter verbatim. We received about 12 replies from relatives, and the success that followed was incredible... "JOSIE, THAT WAS A GREAT IDEA, AND A GREAT SUCCESS STORY. THANK YOU SO MUCH. AND BY THE WAY, IF YOU MEET ALAN'S GREAT GRANDFATHER, DEMPSTER LAURENSON, PLEASE ASK HIM TO GUIDE US TO HIS BIBLE WHICH BECAME LOST IN THE 1940'S..."
What a great lady Josie has been. We were so glad to see her again on July 4th, 2014, visiting in Salt Lake from Manti.
May God bless you all, her family, and may you have peace and comfort knowing that she lives and the righteous have no need to fear.
Till we meet again.
Love to you all.
Alan and Yvette Longstaff and family.
