My mother is Leona Gomoll Gallenson "Lee" and Judy was her best friend. I was fortunate to grow up having two moms because Judy was a mother to me. They met at East High School and I'll never forget the story my mom told me of how they met. Judy was skidding on the heel of her shoe and "bam" she slid into Leona and they both went flying. From that time on they were inseparable. Mom loved Judy more than my father and brought her more joy and happiness throughout her life. Judy was attentive to Lee and I often wish my mother divorced and could have truly been happy with her other half. There was a sorrow in my mother because she couldn't truly be happy. I loved Judy so much! She was so much fun and lived life to the fullest. There is so many memories there isn't enough room to list them all. The greatest gift Judy gave me was Georjane "Gee" and Blade "Bladey". I love them more than anyone in this world. I took care of them for years while Judy golfed the circuit. I lived at their home more than I lived at my own home. My biggest wish would be to continue to see and cherish Gee and Bladey. I'm still here and have a lot of love to give them. When my mother passed away, judy had a hard time and I know shes still talking to me telling me to be there for Gee and Bladey. I love you so much Judy and I'm so proud to be a part of your family. Thank you for being the greatest mom a kid could ever have. I'll be seeing you someday. Can't wait for one of your tight squeezes!

Leona (Lee) Gomoll Gallenson was the love of Judy. I was surprised all of these messages didn't mention Lee. I remember the two of them cooking & trying new recipes (miss the long lost casserole!) cleaning, drinking, smoking, planning parties, babysitting, shopping, washing and mangling the sheets, making tablecloths, playing poker, bowling, golfing, partners in the cabin, dressing and cutting Gee & Blade's hair, grocery shopping, gardening, taking care of George & Ede, watching Gee, Blade, Sandi, Cheryl & Rochie swim, trips to Ely, MN and Mexico, redecorating new kitchens, decorating a new Christmas tree every year, raising beau beau, somi, menti, meetoo, finster, horseback riding in Park City, dude ranch, Zion's, Bryce, Grand canyon trips. A lifetime of fun; nobody can take Lee's place and the're finally together again! You go girls, I can imagine the reunion they are having in Heaven. We will miss you but knowing you're together is such a comfort.

I love you Mom and wish I could have spent your last years with you. The last time I talked to you I told you to call me and I'd be there. I now understand because of your health you didn't want me to see you but to remember you in health and the love you gave our family. Thank you for all your love and giving me Gee and Bladey. I love my sister and brother more than they'll ever know. I promise you I'll look in on them.

Oh my, the special memories of this amazing person up at Strawberry, sure have missed seeing her on the porch and the parties (joing the parties) on the porch and hearing the laughter! She always made me feel so welcome, wanted, and made me know that she cared.
I am looking forward to having a celebration of her life up there in the near future.
xoxoxo Love you, Becky, Afton, and the Boys

Judy and I were High School and College friends. She taught me how to drive a car, and she would drive me here and there when we attended functions together. She was always fun and full of life!

Your mother was a huge part of the Anderson family for many, many years. Tina, Lisa and I were fortunate to have been members of the Meadowbrook Ladies bowling league with Judy and Max. What a blast! It was always great to see her at the family events. She was one-of-a-kind! There was never any doubt about her love and concern for her children and grandchildren.
We will always remember her with great fondness. I bet she is working with St. Peter on his backswing right now!
With love, The Andersons, Nelsons, Gordons, & Andrews families

With deepest Sympathy to Judy's family and friends. My friendship goes back to 1959 when Judy and I played basketball with the Utah Lakers womens team and went back to St. Joseph, Missouri to compete in the National A.A.U. Championship. She was the shortest one on the team and I was the next shortest. She played a mean game of ball and was a lot of fun on the court. She was a real competitor. I enjoyed the time we spent together on and off the court.

Dear Georjane and Sue, I just found out I missed the "celebration" today and am very disappointed as I wanted to be there to honor Judy. I truly enjoyed knowing her. She befriended me the first time I came to play at Mt.Dell and made me feel so welcome. I loved her laughter, her jokes, her kindness and her spirit for life. How lucky you are to have had such an influence. I feel fortunate to have known her. My heart goes out to you during this most difficult time of your lives. She will always be remembered by those of us who loved her. Love Keely

Georjane and Blade, I will miss your mom and the respect she showed me. She was always up for a good laugh. I remember the wedding shower she gave me with all her friends, what a good time. I wish my mom Addie could also remember the good times, there is some glimmer when I mention your mom so I know deep down some how she does remember. I hope that all those good times will be with you both to comfort you in the future.

To the family, I'm sorry for your loss. I was a student of "Coach" Branham at Bountiful. I played on her softball team too. I thought she was the Best! And I've always mentioned when football season comes around that my high school gym teacher taught all her girl students the rules to football! I remember and am thankful for influence in my life.

Geroganne and family, I won't be able to come tomorrow. I will be thinking of my friend Judy the great golfer and such a happy person. She was so proud of all her family. We played great golf when we were talking politics. Our drives when further. So I say goodbye to my friend for now and will meet some day on the big putting green. Remember 01.20.09. We had lot of laughs. Carolyn

Judy was a true and loyal friend. We last spoke in January, and vowed to get our East High group together for lunch come spring. Now, friends will get together to remember the good times we shared with her. Judy and I loved reminiscing about our Alpha Chi days at the U. So many memories - I will miss her and her fun personality. My sincere condolences to her family.
