Julie Diana Skinner Newren passed away on Tuesday, February, 4, 2020. She was born January 12, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ernest Leroy and Doris Helen Gunrud Skinner, the oldest of two daughters.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February, 8, 2020 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple in Salt Lake City. A visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.

I so enjoyed getting to know Julie over the years in Red Hats. She always had this twinkle in her eyes and a sweet smile, and was such a delight to be around. I will remember her as a kind, caring lady. I think of her as "Julie the Jewel". She was a gem. I will so miss you, Julie. Rest in Peace..

Julie was a great friend and neighbor! She'd walk with her beloved Morgan and find a shady spot in front of my home. She and I shared heart felt, thought filled, and mostly funny stories with each other. Inevitably, her sarcastic, witty and sassy spirit- would have us both laughing until the next time. I will miss her deeply, but great memories will remain. I'm so grateful she shared her time and frienship with me. Love to her Family and Friends. Jan
