Justin Tranter Obituary

He married the love of his life, Ashley Van Dyke, May 18, 2001 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Justin was an active member of the LDS Church, he served an honorable mission in Calgary, Canada and maintained his enthusiasm for sharing the Gospel. Justin was gentle and kind. He is also survived by his parents; sister, Jennifer (David McDon-ough); brothers, David, Devin, Robert, Matthew; in-laws, Lynn and Dana Van Dyke; and his large extended family. Preceded in death by grandmother, Joanne Finch. Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday, April 13, 2005, 11 a.m. at the Canyon Rim Stake Center, 3051 So. 2900 E. SLC, UT. Friends may call Tuesday, April 12, 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) and Wednesday 9-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Dear Tranter Family,

I just learned of this tragic news. I met Justin through working at Washington Mutual, and although I spent little time with him in person, his impression was life changing. Justin was a caring, fun, spiritual, kind, and selfless person that impacted everyone he met. I feel like I know you through Justin. He loved his family more than anything in the world. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in this time of sadness. Justin, you will forever be in my thoughts and my prayers go out to you. You will be greatly missed.

We are here for you in your time of need now and always. Even though we haven't seen you in awhile, we have always loved your family Richard and Marianne.

Dear Tranter Family,

I served with Justin for two months in Kimberley, BC. Justin had a unique ability to gain others trust and make friends easily. In the short time we had together, he became a eternal friend. I am grateful for all the snowy roads, slammed doors, and shared testimonies. Justin changed many lives, including my own. My prayers and thoughts are with the Tranter family.
