Karl Spivey Obituary

Karl Allen Spivey

August 24, 1950 – August 30, 2025

Lake Point, UT-It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Karl Spivey. Karl passed surrounded by love, in his home, just a few days after his 75th birthday. He was born on August 24, 1950 to Billie Spivey and Shirley Fullmer Spivey. Karl was a fun-loving, generous soul. Full of spirit. Full of love. His smile could light up a room. He never hesitated to help anyone who needed it, whether they were a lifelong friend or a complete stranger. As a young man, Karl joined the Army. He served in the Vietnam War and, made it home safely.

He loved the outdoors- camping, hunting, and fishing. He especially loved bow hunting elk and passed that passion down to his nephews, teaching them the patience and skill it required.

Karl enjoyed spending time with family. He made gatherings brighter with his presence. Karl was in his element, around the campfire, with food, laughter, and music. He loved to sing and play his guitar, making up silly songs that had the kids giggling and grown- ups smiling.

Karl's beans, tamales, and pineapple upside down cake with cream cheese frosting will forever be family favorites.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brother Dave.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam, and son, Kip. He is also survived by his brother, Mike (Bonnie), sister Kathy (Jim), and brother in law Kevin. Karl leaves behind nieces and nephews whom he loved with all his heart, lifelong friends Stacy and Dave, André and Brett, and next- door neighbors, the Fords, who became like family to him.

Karl, even though you are gone from this earth, you will never be gone from us. Your laughter, your music, your stories, and your love will echo in our hearts forever. You taught us what it means to give freely, and to love without hesitation. We will carry your love with us in every song we sing, every campfire we gather around, and every meal we share. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will always love and miss you. See you in the movies.
