Karma Vikari Obituary
Karma Jean Kay Vikari, 73, of Springville, UT, passed away at home on Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was born June 5, 1940 in Logan, Utah to Dr. F. Arthur Kay and Eunice Nielsen. Kay. She married Christian Vikari in the Salt Lake Temple, September 21, 1959, he preceded her in death February 21, 2013.
Karma Jean was gifted with good health, a keen intellect and a quick wit. She had an extraordinary gift for music and was accepted at Julliard after highschool. Her talent was in both voice and piano, and willingly shared this talent with others. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully whenever called. She also faithfully supported her loving husband in his endeavors as well.
Surviving are daughters: Heidi Ann Vikari (Jack) Ehlen, Gina Marie Vikari (James) Moore and Kathryn Kay Vikari; son, Jeffrey Todd Vikari; daughter-in-law, Valine Tobler Vikari; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Christian Arthur Vikari and a daughter, Heather Lyn Vikari.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Springville Spring Creek 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 235 East 500 North, where friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Annabella Utah Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon..

A dear and loving friend to me. We had a lot in common and she loved her children with a passion. She made me laugh . Love her forever! Chris was also a dear friend.

Karma was my very dear friend, she was so loving to her family and friends. She and her wonderful husband were always caring and showed such love for my son Steven.

Karma Jean is my cousin. She had superior musical abilities. As children we put on "Little Women" in the backyard of Mamo's house in Richland, Washington. Our mothers made long dresses, complete with hoops in the hem for us.
To our delight, Karma Jean could quote lines from the most recent radio show of "Our Gal Sunday" We often hid in the basement double bed to avoid giving a piano recital for the grown-ups.
