In Loving Memory
Sandy, Utah-Kathleen Farris McCune (1947-2023) passed away, leaving a legacy of compassion and dedication. Born in Salt Lake City, she built a strong family foundation and pursued education at the University of Utah. Kathy's career at Utah Transit Authority showcased her love for trains and buses, while her advocacy for disabled individuals and support in AA touched many lives. A lifelong Democrat and feminist, she admired strong women and fought for human rights. Kathy is survived by grateful grandchildren and her sister. Preceded in death by her children, husbands, and beloved family members. Her impact will be cherished. The memorial will be held on June 20th, 2023 at 5:15 PM. Located at the Day Barn Indoor Pavilion, 1166 E Pioneer Road Draper, UT 84020.

I worked with Kathy at UTA TRAX. She was the epitome of a great supervisor as well as a friend and compassionate person. She was the best. I considered her a great friend.
