I knew you mother as "Mrs. Read", my back door neighbor since 1960. Kathy was not only my neighbor but also my cub scout Den Mother with lots of fun activities that taught me and other young boy's many good things, even if we didn't know it at the time; She was the stregnth behind your great Father Ed; And obviously a great mother, and grandmother. The Read family was and is a big and important part of our world in Taylorsville, many good memories. I'm fortunate to have been a part of that. Thank you for sharing your Mother.

When I think about growing up in Taylorsville, your family is prominent in my memories. Your mother was always such a sweet presence in our neighborhood. I will be praying for you all to find peace and comfort in knowing that families are forever.
