What a love story. So sorry it ended so soon. I supported the F-15 Fighters for 14 of 33 year career at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. I love those jets and their crews. When we loose one it tears us all up. Thanks for your service and glad you got to at least live and die your dream. Prayers for Hannah, the Allen Family, F-15 Family, and his friends.

High Flight
by John Gillespie Magee
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward Ive climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hovring there,
Ive chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue
Ive topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or ever eagle flew
And, while with silent, lifting mind Ive trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Kage came into our lives in quite a miraculous way at the end of his 3rd year at the Air Force Academy when our son was deciding whether or not to accept the appointment he had just received. When our son returned from his appointee tour he told me about an amazing cadet he met during his visit. At the beginning of the academic year he was thrilled to learn Kage was the squadron commander to which he'd been assigned. As a mother of an Air Force Academy cadet I am forever grateful for the way Kage took our son under his wing that year. Over the last few years it has been enjoyable to watch Kage excel in his Air Force pilot career. Our deepest condolences and sympathy go to his family - especially his beloved Hannah. Kage has left a legacy we will both cherish and honor!

Kage has blessed all of our lives with added joy, laughter, kindness, friendship, patriotism and light. We will dearly miss our earthly visits with Kage but take great comfort in knowing he is watching over us all from an even higher elevation. We love you Allen Family. We are going to do our best to make sure Kages legacy lives on in us too.
