Kenneth Russell Rogers

Kenneth Russell Rogers 1920 ~ 2008 "We Love You" Kenny Rogers passed away at his home March 31, 2008. He was born Oct. 8, 1920 in Iowa. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was scheduled at the end of May to be recognized through the Honor Flight Program, in Washington DC, as one of the few remaining World War II veterans. He worked for Standard Oil for over 45 years. Kenny was a master wood worker and created many keepsakes for family and friends. He is survived by his six children; Lynda Rogers, Kenna Rogers Jorgensen, Joy Hines, Debra Walke, Guy Holmstrom, and Gary Holmstrom; grandchildren Justin, Dylan, Tabatha, Patrick, Ashton, Paige, and Alec; and great grandchildren; Kaely; Devyn, and Terry. Preceded in death by his wife, Joan Rogers. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Road Kanab, Utah, 84741 in Kenny's name.
