LaFonda Roberts Curtis, born May 18, 1928 to Mildred Alvey Roberts and Joseph L. Roberts in Inerury (Central), Sevier Co. Utah, passed away Oct. 14, 2017. She will be missed by many friends and relatives. Married Dolan M. Curtis on April 1, 1944, and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was anxious to be reunited with many loved ones that preceded her in death, including her husband; daughter Irene; grandson Jerry; parents; brothers Derane, twins Worren and Lorren, Joe (LaVoy); Sisters LeDean, Arlene, DeVona; Sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews and other treasured friends and family members (both Roberts and Curtis who she missed so much. She is survived by her son, Allen and wife Peggy, grandson Jay and wife Christy and her most cherished great granddaughters, Maren and Ava. LaFonda is also survived by her sister Virginia, brother Gordon (Wife Cherye), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended Curtis family members and friends.
We are all so very blessed to have had her in our lives. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 from noon until 1:45 pm at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah with graveside services to follow at 2:00 PM.
