Lezann Keshmiri Obituary
Lezann Keshmiri departed this world with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her devoted husband Majid, daughter Sarah, son Saeed, father Lawrence Pilgrim, sister Kristi Elmer and family. She loved life and the written arts and dedicated her life to the written word. She touched many lives with her kindness and compassion. Her beautiful spirit will always be in our hearts.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 9th, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 So. Salt Lake City

Lezann was the most compassionate, kind, thoughtful and considerate person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She inspired me to improve myself through her selfless, loving personality. She could turn a bad day into a perfect week simply by having a conversation with me. I will miss her with my entire being and will tell my children (and their children) about her. She will be terribly missed, but also remembered with fondness and joy.

I will always miss you, Lezann. Majid and Sarah, I have no words. Your Lezann was always kind. I remember visiting Sarah when she was a preemie in the hospital. How strong the two of you were, as mom and daughter. She really loved you, Sarah a lot. She even offered to let me hold you, but I was too chicken, afraid I would drop you. Lezann effortlessly picked you up, displaying a confidence borne out of love. I would only understand when I had my own daughter, Sabine (Bean). Much love to you both.

I worked with Lezann and Saeed at the Marriott Library. Lezann was a strong woman and kind. I'm sad that her light has gone out far too soon. My condolences to her family.

I love Lezann. She was always so kind to me and had the most infectious laugh and sweet smile. We worked together in Special Collections for 7 years and, after I left the department, we used to walk into work together every so often and just chat about whatever was going on in our lives. When I was pregnant with my first child, she told me all about being a Mom and how amazing it was. I'm going to miss her so much. She was amazing.

Lezann was my friend for over 30 years, since we met in a University of Utah English class. She was a sweet lady with a beautiful spirit and loving heart. Her friendship meant a lot to me and I will always hold her close. Thank you for your love and support, dearest friend!

As that smile shows, Lezann was a sweet person and a breath of fresh air. We worked for many years together at the Marriott Library. We were both busy with work and our private lives, but would take the time to visit in front of the library near the book store on a sunny day. The talk would be an appreciation of a beautiful day, a run down of our family events and even a talk of the concerns and frustrations of the day. I always found Lezann to be blunt and honest and funny and our interactions real but enlightening and encouraging. Lezann was a good friend for many years. I love her and will miss her dearly.
