I don't know where to start. I just found out the news a little later than everyone one else because I live in another state. Nevertheless I am heart broken that my best friend has passed. Although, I moved several states away we kept our friendship after all these years. She was always there for me. She was the most sincere, loyal, fun-loving, positive, caring, and full-of-life friend that a person could have. I always admired her strength and ambition. She always followed her heart. We had always planned on being eachother's maid of honor and this coming year I am getting married. I know that she will still be standing right next to me during my big day. Lindsey loved her family as well as her friends deeply. My love and prayers goes out to Leslie, Lindsey's mother, she was always a great mom and very supportive of Lindsey. I have faith that she is with Jesus and He is taking care of her now. That is the only thing that will get me through this. I know we will be together again someday. God Bless All. With all my love, Heather Piper

Lindsey was one of the most beautiful person I knew inside and out. She always had a way of making me feel comfortable when I was with her, and when we spent special "cousinly" times together. I loved her soo much and still do... she was the one that always could bring a smile on my face. Aunty Leslie, I'm so sorry and I love you very much... Muah, all my love and hugs.

I went to school with Lindsey at Jordan, and although I didn't know her very well, I always admired her sparkling personality. She was always smiling, and was a beautiful person inside and out. I am sure she will be missed a lot by her family and friends.

I can not describe the feeling I had when I heard Lindsey had passed. I never had the honor of meeting her. Though Leslie spoke of her often. I am filled with great sorrow for her loss. I know she is in a better place. I have been praying for Leslie, and everyone else Lindsey touched, and sending lots of love. Hang in there. I am here if you need me.

"What a dark valley and a shadow it is that we call death! To pass from this state of existence as far as the mortal body is concerned, into a state of inanition [emptiness], how strange it is! How dark this valley is! How mysterious is this road, and we have got to travel it alone. I would like to say to you, my friends and brethren, if we could see things as they are, and as we shall see and understand them, this dark shadow and valley is so trifling that we shall turn round and look about upon it and think, when we have crossed it, why this is the greatest advantage of my whole existence, for I have passed from a state of sorrow, grief, mourning, woe, misery, pain, anguish and disappointment into a state of existence, where I can enjoy life to the fullest extent as far as that can be done without a body. My spirit is set free, I thirst no more, I want to sleep no more, I hunger no more, I tire no more, I run, I walk, I labor, I go, I come, I do this, I do that, whatever is required of me, nothing like pain or weariness, I am full of life, full of vigor, and I enjoy the presence of my heavenly Father, by the power of his Spirit." - Brigham Young, 28 July, 1874 - - We Love you Leslie. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

Lindsey is my best friend. She has been there through every trial I can remember through out my life. I could not explain to anyone how special she was to me. I feel like I knew her better than any friend did, and she knows me better than any other friend. Lindsey loved her family, I heard her so many times speak of her mother, brother, grandmother, aunt and cousins. She was so special, and so unique, and so perfect. I will always miss her, and never forget her. Her family will always be in my heart. And I believe that Lindsey will still hear me in my time of need, and will always be there when I need her. I would never take back the time I spent with her for anything. I thank God for giving me the chance to have her in my life. I pray that he will be with all that loved her now. Lindsey, I love you, and I thank you for being such a big part of my life!
