Lori Story Obituary

Lori Olsen Story 1961 ~ 2009 Our beloved daughter, sister, and friend Lori Olsen Story, returned home to our Heavenly Father and the loving arms of her husband Randy on June 22, 2009 after a prolonged battle with multiple illnesses.She was born in Provo, UT on August 16, 1961 to Leslie and Joyce Olsen, and grew up in Heber City where she graduated from Wasatch High School. She attended Brigham Young University School of Nursing, and earned her RN Degree in 1984. She met her sweetheart, Randy Storey, while living in Salt Lake City and was married to him in the LDS Salt Lake Temple, May 12, 2000. Randy passed away December 7, 2002. Lori had great faith through all her trials. Lori was always so loving to her many nieces and nephews and always remembered their birthdays and special times in their lives. The world was a better place with her in it. Lori is survived by her parents, Leslie and Joyce, her sister Lisa (Steven) Provost, and brothers Brad (Kristin) Olsen, Brian, and Jason (Brandi) Olsen. To Lori's Familyn,

I, too, knew Lori at the Canyon Rimm Care Center. She was a very special person and loved by everyone. She attended all our meetings and seemed so happy. She brought her scriptures every week. She was a great missionary and helped Tammy learn about the gospel and was able to attend the baptismal service. It was a very special day for all of us. We have some great pictures of Lori and Tammy.

To Lori's family: I was one of Lori's nurses at Flexcare. Lori was always pleasant, happy, and positive. Everytime I visited her she asked how I was doing and how my family was. She had many medical problems and yet she was always concerned about other people and their lives. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Lori was a sweet wonderful person and I will miss her. I have many great memories of my visits with her and the talks we used to have. I haven't been her nurse for 3 or 4 years because of a change in my own life but I will never forget Lori. She was special. Blessings to all of her family and may God sustain you at this difficult time.

To the family of Lori Story;
We were in the Branch Presidency of the 13th Branch at the care center that Lori was a resident. We grow to really love Lori and were very sad when told that she had passed away. We as a Branch will truly miss her. She had many friends at the care center and they will miss her dearly.
