Marci- A lot of years have passed since we hung out, but I can remember when we met... a couple 15 year old girls in science, we had more fun talking than learning anything. I still can't believe they let us use the bunsen burner together... an even bigger surprise is we never set the school on fire! After High School I don't know what happened, we just got so busy... I have been looking for you for a couple years now, but that's hard because I was still looking you up by your maiden name. I miss you terribly! My heart is with your family, I know the pain you're feeling, I recently lost my own Mother unexpectedly. Keep her in your heart and she will forever be with you, she was an amazing person and wonderful friend!

Marci has a heart of gold. I am deeply saddened at the news of the loss of her sweet spirit here upon the earth. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, Bill, her sweet husband who I never got to meet but who according to her made her very happy and to her darling baby girls who I know she loved dearly as she proudly showed pictures of them to me when I would run into her at the grocery store. Rest in peace sweet Marci and may the lord watch over your family and comfort them at this time.

Dear friends. I am stunned and so heartbroken by your loss. I had only known Marci for a short time. Her daughter Erin and my daughter Ryenne attend Kindergarted together.
My daughter has enjoyed Erin and Ellie's company at birthday parties and playdates, as well as school.
Marci was a wonderful person. So friendly and kind. Always there to help with anything and very welcoming. Althought I had only just become a friend, I feel like I have known her for years. I am so very sorry to the family for your loss. I have such heartache in absorbing this reality. Please know I am here for anything you need, anytime! My number is in Marci's phone.

My dear sweet Marci! We were co-workers at Southwest Airlines reservations in Salt Lake City. She was one of the very first friends I made when I first started working there. I will always remember Marci for her kindness towards me and for all the countless times she made me laugh. Marci, may I be worthy to see you again one day.

I've been thinking about you constantly. So many things remind me of you. I know God had a plan for us to meet and become friends. I was so blessed to share many memories with you both ups and downs. We were so blessed that our Father in Heaven blessed us with a doctor who could help us bring our twins to our families. My boys turned 8 today! As I have thought of you the last few days I cherish the blankets you made for not only my boys, but also my daughter. We blessed all of our children in your precious gifts. They are kept safe to pass on to them and your story will go with them. Words cannot express how much I look up to you. You will always be an example to me of unconditional love. You reflected the Saviors love in all you did and stood for. Your daughters will be constantly reminded of your love and example. There are too many of us that have a story to tell. I plan to write them a letter about how you touched my life. I love you my friend! I look forward to the day we will meet again!

To your family I offer my love and prayers. Thank you for sharing Marci with me.

Marci, it is so hard to internalize the fact that you aren't here with us anymore. You were such a special person--always so full of love and kindness. You immediately befriended me during a trying time in my life and for that I will be forever grateful. Thank you for showing us all what it means to be real, strong, and nonjudgemental. This isn't a goodbye, just 'see you later'. I love you, my dear friend, and I will miss seeing your sweet face.

Marci, you may not have known the lives you have influenced for good during your young life on this earth. You will know now, I am sure. You always made it a special pleasure to be in your presence. To say nothing of the example you are, of what a great mother, and wife, a woman should be. Your daughters, your husband and many, many more are missing you so so much! I miss you Marci! I'm sure you are being embraced by many that were waiting for you. Love you, Marci!

Marci,
You have been a great friend to me as we grew up together through our school years. You will be missed truly by your family and friends and will always have a special place in my heart as a dear friend. Thanks for being such a good friend through our Junior High and High school years. You have always included me to be with you and your close circle of friends which meant alot to me and always had time for me as we grew together as good friends in junior high.

My dear sweet friend Marci, I will miss you horribly. There are not words to describe how amazing and wonderful you are. You were the kindest, sweetest, most fun loving, and wonderful people I have ever called my friend. The world is a better place because you were here. I am so happy to know that you are with your dad, but so heartbroken to know you are not here.

I keep trying to remind myself of this quote from Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened!" But admittedly, I am really struggling with this loss. I love you Marci, always will.

To Brannon and Marci's sweet little "E's", my deepest and most sincere condolances.

To Pat, Bill, Debi, and all the rest of Marci's family, I am so grateful to have known you and Marci. I will love and treasure her forever. There is not a person on this earth who has a negative thing to say about Marci, and that speaks volumes.

All my love,
Amy Short Mulcock

I was one of Marci's YW leaders with Gerrilyn Mason in the 43rd Ward. Marci was so special to me and my family, babysitting my children, and even being there for me with a traumatic experience in my life! She is one of the most selfless, sweetest persons I've ever known. She will be so missed. Love and prayers for her family!

Marci, we miss you, you are such a great friend! It was so much fun getting to go through our first pregnancies together. Love you!

April 8, 2012

The best thing you taught it me is to end every text and Im and phone conversation with, "I love you." It meant so much that you did that, and it means more now. What an honor that your final words to me were, "i love you and I love your daughter." May I just echo those words now. Thank you for being there in the hospital room when "we" (you, Kendalyn and I ) delivered Bentley. All my big moments of the last 18 years, you were with me. You paved the road for my biggest life change, and I will never forget you. (How could I, that baby we delivered always reminds me.)

I will miss you during the big events, and I will miss random IM conversations, and stalking you on Facebook. You are one of a kind, irreplaceable, and now our angel.

To quote my dear friend, "I love you and I love your daughters."

Keep an eye out for Team Holley if you get the chance

I can't help but remember the sweet tribute Marci paid to her father at his funeral in Novemeber. Who would have thought she would be joining him so soon???? Such a shock! Yet,there is a sweetness that comes with knowing she and her dad are together--that they are keeping each company until the rest of their loved ones join the party.....(not too soon we hope!) Our hearts and prayers are with her family. We love you all!

Marci- I was impressed by your dedication to your family. What a caring mother you were! I am honored to have Erin in my kindergarten class this year. I got to meet Erin's awesome mother and father. I remember how hard it was for you to let go of your father. I hope you are with him now. I promise you I will keep an eye out for Erin, even when she is no longer in my class. You were so sensitive to my needs and state of mind. Thank you for being a friend as well as just a 'parent'. I was blessed to get to know you. -Christena Nelson

I love you so much my friend. You made my world a better place, and I can't imagine my life without you in it. I will make sure your girls know how wonderful you are and how much you adore them. They will never doubt your love for them. What am I going to do without my Marci? The Marci-sized hole in my heart will never be filled. I hope the reunions with your dad and sister were joyful. I know they were so happy to see you, and I know heaven is a much brighter and happier place now. I will miss you every day. Love, Steph

Marci- you will never know the impact you had on my life. You were amazingly strong. Much stronger than you gave yourself credit for. You were kind and loving and most of all non-judgemental. Thank you for being my friend and always giving me the shoulder squeeze when we passed in the hall at church. We love and miss you terribly. We will all be here for your sweet girls. They loved and adored you so much. Words can not adequately express the sorrow I feel. Brannon- I can not imagine this trial you are facing. Please let me know if we can help.
