Margaret Ann Hocking Talbot
Together Again
Margaret Ann Hocking Talbot, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away March 30, 2012. Born April 23, 1921 in Ogden Utah, Margaret was the oldest of 3 daughters of Charles Howard and Marvel Susannah Hocking. Married to Eugene Leroy Talbot on February 4, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. Margaret was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for which she faithfully fulfilled many callings including temple worker for 13 years at the Jordan River Temple, Relief Society instructor for 22 years and Stake Young Women's President. She loved dancing, flowers, sunsets and feeding wild birds but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Quilter, photographer, and traveler, she visited all 50 states and many foreign countries. Margaret owned her own magazine subscription business that she managed for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by husband Eugene and son Lee Howard Talbot. Margaret is survived by 3 sons, Terry (Bonnie), Frank (Mary) and Randy (Lisa), 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Margaret was kind, talented, and thoughtful. She will be missed by family and friends. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 on Monday April 2, 2012 at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 Bengal Blvd (7600 South), Cottonwood Heights. Graveside services to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your mom and Grandma. I remember her being a really sweet woman any time I was able to be around her at your house Bonnie & Terry. I know that she is very proud of you Terry and the great man, friend, and son you are. Imagine what a wonderful reunion it was for her and your dad! Sending you lots of love!
