Our family hold precious memories of Mark back the we knew him as Elder Schenk when he came to England to serve a mission. Mark served In Nottingham 4 our home ward. He was an exemplary missionary and as a family we grew to love him. When we heard of his passing we were shocked and sad for his loved ones left behind. What a comfort & blessing it is to know that Families can be together forever through Heavenly Fathers Plan. May God continue to watch over & bless his family. Love the Kirks xx

Dear Schenk Family, I was so saddened to hear about Mark's passing. I saw him a couple of years ago when he came over to Mark's house and we happened to be visiting Mark's family. It was so much fun to reminisce about growing up in the 26th ward. I so enjoyed that afternoon. Please know how much regard I have for your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Steve and family- my Heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family at this time of loss. It is hard to loose someone close and It is hard to make sense of this when they are young like this. Life seems to be fragile. I grew up and went to the same High School and I was a grade ahead. Mark was friends with some of my younger friends and an influence for good.

Mark was a companion of mine while serving in England Coventry. I loved his sense of humor, his zest for life and his ability to find ways to make every day enjoyable. I am sad to hear that he is gone, but glad that his influence was felt in my life; I am a better man for having known Schenk (as I called him).

My prayers, thoughts, and condolences go out to the entire Schenk family. The Schenk family was a special part of my high school life and memories. Steve and Mark were my "Boys".
