Dear Bro & uncle, I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you more. The boys said they had a alot of fun playing videos games with you the night before you left us. They are going to miss there uncle Matt. I hope your happier now Bro. But I will always have the memories of us growing up,and all the things that brothers do together, and Mom always new what we were up to! Dang we couldn't get away with to much. Bro I just want to let you know that I Love You more than any big brother could. I will miss you & I love you tons. Matt, This world we live in gets harder every day. There are challenges coming from every direction and sometimes it all gets so confusing and overwhelming. I am sorry that this life got so overwhelming for you and so hard to handle. I can only hope that those left behind have learned how much we all love and care for them and know that we are all there for them when they need a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with, or someone just to smile and share the day.
I know God's love is with you and he is wrapping his arms around you now. I see it in the sunshine, in the blue skies, and the beauty that surrounds us.

GOD PLEASE...I lie awake praying as you have told me to since I was young. You promised if we reach out you would forgive our wrongs. You then reach out and pull one of my loved ones away. I lie awake praying for forgiveness for all my wrongs,far much worse than his.Why take him for us to miss? I ask you why as I look to the sky wiping my eyes dry. Have I done something wrong? You know we try to stay strong. I ask for acceptance into the Kingdom, for he is worth the Palace of Palaces. I still see his bright eyes like stars in your sky. His smile bright like morning sunrise, his heart as pure as the gold you allow all of us to wear as a sign of commitment forever in your mind body and soal, follow alike and dream afar. Last week was one of the hardest weeks I have ever been through. Your mom, Mindy and your dad were so strong through it all, though, and I know you must have been helping them get through it. I know it was so hard for Dusty not being able to be with them at such a difficult time, or even being able to tell you goodbye. I am so sorry that you couldn't break free of your pain. Sometimes we never really know how much we are loved until after we are gone. You had a lot of people who cared a lot about you man! You were well loved and I hope you know that. I will never forget you cutie!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

My Dearest Baby Brother,

Trying to make sense of the confusion & questions in my mind,
I've come to realize the answerers are scarce and nearly impossible to find,
Why was this world created with life so challenging,
Why must each of us suffer experiences beyond imagining,
When things start looking up and finally going your way,
When asked, "How your doing?" and with all honesty you reply, "It's been a great day!"
Like clockwork tragedy strikes, again your world in in total dismay,

The Memory Matt Leaves With Me Is A Happy One~We Had A Conversation The Last Time We Sat Together That Lasted Into The Late Hours Of The Night.We Spoke Of Our Sons & We Joked Around Some. Damn,Matt-What happened? I haven't seen ya for a minute.but,Since wayback 'n the day, and until forever, you'll always be my homie! Remember, when like every night me and you was always down to take a late night stroll, like footsoldiers on a mission.Then after the sun would come up, we'd go and check out our work, on display for the whole world to be forced to see, weather or not they viewed it as art, they still had to look at it.And we'd just get stuck starring at it ,like proud parents. Eventually we'd be forced to grow out of it-between the fines and both of us having kids, of our own. To Matt's family and friends, I am very sorry for you loss. Matt and I were good friends when we were in elementary school. There was a big group of us that were always together and I remember Matt always joking around. I haven't seen him in a long time, but I will still miss him.
