Rosa, it was a great day when you married Matthew, he was a lucky man, and you are a lucky woman for marring Matthew ... Matthew had many great talents... BUT.... the one he shared with me often was his poetry, oh how he loved to write poems ... Matthew loved his children so very, very much, he was concerned for their well being, and went to many great lengths to try and make their lives better... He loved Rosa, and he LOVED his MAKER, his God... Matthew will be missed, but he is the lucky one, he got to go all the way home, and is with his Father Marvin, his Grandma, his cousin, his GAunts, and his Lord... God Bless his family... we are all better people for having Matthew in our lives, and one day we will all see each other again...!

I had not seen or spoken with Matt for several years but always enjoyed visiting with him. As a teen and young adult, he spent many hours with our family. He was always a compasionate and honest person. He truly cared about others and their suffering. You always think there will be more time. In some cases there just is not.
Condolences to his family. I am sorry for your loss.

Things may not have always gone our way but when it came down to it matt could be counted on like no other. He will always be my big brother. Even in the toughest times in life I could always count on matt. I probably didnt say it enough in life but I love you brother.
