Michael Bradley Obituary

1968-2013
Our Mikey was taken from us too soon last Saturday in a tragic plane accident in Texas. Mike was a truly kind, generous and strong man who loved the simple things in life. He has many friends and was deeply & truly loved by his family and everyone who knew him. Mike loved his family, his life, his Beta brothers, the outdoors and the loves of his life - Allison, Kadee and Madison. Mike was born in Salt Lake City on May 24, 1968, to Dale E. and Barbara Birch Bradley. Mike was a proud Eagle Scout and football letterman at Skyline High School. Mike graduated from Skyline High School and attended the University of Utah, where he was a fiercely loyal member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and was later graduated from Westminster College with a degree in accounting. Mike has been involved in the real estate industry as an investor, agent and broker for most of his adult life. He started his career in commercial real estate and was the principal broker of MBA Realty. Mike worked with many local and national real estate professionals and most recently has been working with his friends at Celtic Bank assisting with the disposition of real estate assets. Mike was the most physically and emotionally strong person we have ever known. He learned to snow ski and water ski at a very early age and he loved his time spent up at Bear Lake. His home on the Lake was his heaven, his respite and his sanctuary. He was incredibly generous with his "toys" and the time he spent at the lake with his family. Mike leaves behind his best friend and life-partner, Allison Leishman, daughters KadeeLeishman Wolfgram (expectant granddaughter and husband Daniel Wolfgram), his favorite little girl Madison Leishman, parents Dale E. and Barbara Birch Bradley, sister Heather Bradley and nephews Conner and Keegan Turner. Mike leaves behind many beloved friends and many wonderful memories and will be missed by every life he touched.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at the University of Utah Rice Eccles Stadium Tower (6th Floor) on Friday, January 18th at 1pm. Online condolences at www.larkinmortuary.com.

Allison
I was heartbroken When news reached me of this unlikely and isolated incident taking Mike from your life in such a way. I know how much he loved you. Even though not a life long friend like Jeff, it was so evident even to me his feelings for you. Take that love and let it be what heals you now. My heart aches for you. Hang in there "Beautiful Lady".

The amount of people who attended Mike's celebration of his life was a testimonial to the many people whose lives he had touched. Sitting in the front row you were unable to see that every seat was taken and a huge amount of people were standing in the back. All wanting to express their love and appreciation to Mike and your families. Looking down I am sure Mike was pleased!

Mike,
I really wish I could have been in town yesterday...I can't believe you're gone. I know we haven't kept in touch over the years, but this has been so hard for me to accept. You were such a good friend and helped me through so much many years ago, and I hope you knew how much I appreciated the friendship you gave me. I will miss you.

Dale,Barb & Heather,
You were always like a 2nd family to me. I loved Heather & Mike like my brother and sister. We always had such fun playing together at Bear Lake each summer as children whether it was in the water, building forts by the swamp river or exploring. Mike was a terrific guy so full of life and adventure. That's how I'll remember Mike...at Bear Lake doing what he loved in his element. Heaven got an amazing angel that Saturday morning and I do believe he's watching over all of you still with love in his heart. May you all find peace & comfort in the days ahead. I love you all and may god bless your family.

Words cannot express how the world is a different place without you Mike.

You affected so many people in exactly the same way in that your kindess, genuine caring attitude and friendship is a void in their lives that will not easily (if ever replaced)

"A celebration of your life" is a testament to the need for a venue as large as your heart.

Gonna miss you buddy, and my sincerest condolences to everyone affected by your loss...

We were all made better for having known him. May peace and solace find its way to his family and Alison and those Michael loved. He will shine down upon you...

Dear Bradleys,
Mike was one of the first new friends I made at Wasatch Jr. High and our friendship continued through high school. He was the kind of person that was a joy to be around with his infectious smile and calm, positive nature. Though his years were too few, he probably lifted more people than most do with many more years. I never heard him say an unkind word. You must be very proud. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
