Milagros Gracia Obituary
1929 - 2013
Milagros Raquel Gracia, loving mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away February 4, 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on December 4, 1929, in Havana Cuba, to Jose and Rafaela Fernandez. Millie received her formal education at the Edison Institute, Havana, Cuba, where she obtained a Master of Arts in Home Economics Arts and Sciences. Millie was a certified teacher of piano, and a past member of the Montana State Music Teachers Association. Millie was a parishioner at the Holy Family Catholic Church, a member of the Anaconda Catholic Community Choir, Kiwanis International, Daughters of Isabella, and the Anaconda Christian Women's Club. Millie raised three children and enthusiastically participated and supported their activities as children and adults. Millie is survived by her son Mike, her daughter Lourdes and husband Stanton Johnson, Jr.; grandchildren Stan Johnson and wife Brittany, Deston Johnson, Vanessa Bryant and husband Johnnie; three great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Myles, and Geronimo. Millie's daughter Helen went missing in Anaconda in the early morning hours of May 24, 2008 and her whereabouts remain unknown. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn Chapel, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, where friends and well wishers may call one hour prior to services. Internment Larkin Sunset Lawn. For those that would like to donate to a non-profit organization on behalf of Millie, the family requests that donations are made to Project Care, P.O. Box 1280, Anaconda, MT 59711.

It was such a privilege and an honor to know Millie and to spend precious time with her her last months on this earth. I pray the Lord will bring you peace and comfort in these days of grief, and that His Holy Spirit will surround you and give you strength.
