Nancy Becker Obituary

Nancy Lee Becker 7/18/1920~12/12/2007 Long-time Ogden resident Nancy Lee Becker died Dec. 12, 2007. She moved to Ogden from Butler, Pennsylvania during WWII with her parents, H.M. (Peck) and Marjorie Allen Lee. She married John A. (Jack) Becker on December 20, 1942 and together they raised two sons, John (Terry) and Martin (Rae). Jack died in 2001. She was a generous, loving and caring wife and mother who had a large circle of friends with whom she enjoyed golf, sewing, bridge, walking, skiing and bowling. She was active in charitable work and dedicated to her church. Nancy was extravagant in her love of her grandchildren, Hadley Saber (Lee), Margo Becker and Wim Becker, and her two great grandchildren, Jack and Beau Elizabeth Saber. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brother, Bill Lee. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in her memory may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 2374 Grant Avenue, Ogden 84401.
