I was the water boy and was best friends with all the cheerleaders, I loved Nikki like she was my sister, my name is Andrew Blackburn and I went by Andy, I was in tears for days when she died, it hurt so bad, I cared about her and I couldn't believe she was gone, I'm so sorry for your loss and I know she's here with all of us watching over all of us, she loved everybody and cared about everybody and was everybodys friend. Rest in peace Nikki

Nikki was once the highlight of my first grade classroom. She always wore a smile and loved everyone. I was greatly saddened when I heard of her passing. I always envisoned the many great things that she would accomplish one day. As a teacher I saw her potential and knew that I was blessed to have her pass through my life. Even as a charismatic six year old she touched and influenced my life. I can see her in my mind as if it was yesterday. The lessons Nikki taught me were to keep trying and have fun while you do it. Nikki never gave up. Thank you Nikki for touching my life. Dance on Nikki, heaven is a place of joy!

Dear George and Paulla;
I would like to express my deepest condolences for your loss. It was such a shock. My mind went back to when my son Jacob dissappeared. I did not know if he was dead or a live for two weeks. The pain and sorrow was unbearable. I don't think I could stand to loss one of my children, my heart is just broken for you. I pray for God to hold you up in this time of great sorrow.
May 25, 2006
I didn't have the pleasure of knowing such a ray of light. I work by the canyon & noticed that night several trucks going up. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. I too had a loss, rock climbing accident. I want you to know family & friends there are people out there who care & are touched. Its hard to believe sometimes that there is a much bigger picture, a bigger plan the Lord has in store for them, & for those who are left behind. It is hard to see through the tears,& pain, keep hanging on. It seems as time goes by, small pieces slowly unravel and you start to understand what their mission was in life. It is so apparent that Niki's was to show us how to love unconditionally. When times gets rough & you feel you can not go on cling to the knowledge of the Savior's love for you. He is so mindful of you and wraps his arms around you & that Niki's spirit is close by. I know their spirit lives on... far beyond any grave. In time when you think of her it will bring a smile to your face knowing that when it is time for you to go...she will be there to greet you.

Nikki-
Knowing where and how you are right now; knowing the warmth, love and peace you now experience---yet never having had the honor to meet you to create a memory for both of us, I’m sure you will understand my reason for the words, thoughts and prayers I send now, to those loved ones left behind.
Nikki, as the loving person I’ve felt you to be through the words and prayers of so many that knew you, I know my ‘gift’ of heart-felt thought will be seen and felt by you as I say these words. You are the ‘gift’. You were a gift to others in a dark, desolate and unforgiving world. You were a simple ray of sunshine that battered down the walls of darkness that surrounds us all. You brought warmth where there was coldness; companionship where only loneliness abided. You reminded them of how life should be lived. You valiantly touched the lives of so many, that your passing will only cause them to grow stronger from the wisdom of your youth that you shared so freely and lovingly with them. This, dear Lady, is the gift of an Angel. I believe it was Emerson who said, “…To leave this world a bit better by a child; a garden patch or a redeemed social condition---To know that one life has breathed easier because you have lived----This is to have succeeded.” And so you have, Little Miss---and so you have.
Now, dear Nikki, as this Angel, I ask that you give all your loved ones the peace they seek in your loss. Remind them of all the good times and good feelings. Remind them of the lessons you learned together. And most importantly, remind them that we are all “On borrowed Time”. We, all, must reach out to those in need---friend, family and, most of all, stranger. Remind them, that as long as they extend a loving hand to those in need, you will always be in their midst. And, finally, remind them always, that as long as they hold you in their heart, they will never loose you.
Dear Nikki, I never knew you. However, I will never forget you. The journey of the mariner has started. Steer strong and true to your course and always, always remember---- it’s the “second star to the left----straight on ‘til morning”.

George Paula & Taisha-
Honestly I don't know what to say. I've tried writing again and again but nothing seems good enough. I guess words just can't say how sorry I am. Just simple words writen by me, can never do Nikki justice. Nikki was the greatest friend anyone would ever ask for! That's why she had so many. A few days before Saturday, I was feeling down for some reason or another. I was getting ready for lifeguarding or something where I new I was going to see her, and I was excited because I knew if anybody could make it go away, it would be Nikki. I could always be happy around her, and she told me while we were having an adventure on the freeway how she loved how happy I was (or something to that effect) But it was because of her. She was so bubbly and happy she could lighten up any room. When everything was happening I couldn't believe it was Nikki. I still can't believe it. I just wish SO much that I could have done something more. I am so sorry. Nikki touched so many peoples lives. She touched mine deeply. I hope with all my heart that I can be more like her.
I guess I'm at a loss for words again. I just want you to know that Nikki danced to the end. Just before climbing the rope she had my i-pod and she danced with that smile of hers. I don't remember much before it happened, but that I remember well. She is a beautiful girl and I love her and I will never ever forget her!
Love, Sarah

Nikki was such an amazing, beautiful girl and I cannot even begin to imagine how hard this is on her family. I hope their hearts will heal in time, and that they remember that they will be able to be with her again someday. Nikki was one of my closest, most precious friends. I have been cheering with her since the 9th grade at Millcreek, and then we were on the same team at Bountiful High. I am so grateful that she has been on teams with me, because I don't know how I would have made it through without her. Nikki's outlook on everything was so positive, and she never had anything bad to say. Just to keep on going because it can only get better! I had classes with her this year, and it was amazing to see how excited she was to be in school. She truly had a desire to learn. Not only in school but in everything. She was always so sweet and sincere to everyone. She accepcted everyone no matter who they were, or where they came from. And she never once failed to tell everyone how amazingly beautiful they looked that day, even if they were just in sweats and a ponytail. I guess you never really realize how precious people can be to you, until you don't have them anymore. But I know that I will see her again someday, and that until then, she is watching over everyone and protecting us. Nikki will always be in my heart, and I will never forget her. I hope that she is still dancing and tumbling and never stops! I can't wait to see her again but until then I will always remember her.
Love you Nikki The Great! *Rest In Peace*
Love you always,

I knew Nikki in elementary, as did so many others, and she inspired everyone around her for the good. She always had a smile on her face and I would always see her smile and it would cheer anyone up on a stormy day. I saw her once in a while around town and she would always come up and say hi and we would catch up on life. She was a good friend and even though I did not know her very well she was a sunshine in a world of sorrow. My prayers are with her family and I know that she is happy where she is. I love you Nikki.

Nikki was such a beautiful person, and full of life. She had such a cheerful, bubbley personality that could cheer anyone up. We've known nikki since elementary school and then attended jr. high with her. She was such a wonderful person and had so many things going for her in life. We feel terrible that such a horrible thing had to happen and we are very, very sorry. We never thought we would say the day that something would happen like this to our cute little Nikki. Gosh, my heart nearly broke when I received the news. George, you and I were just talking about Nikki on Friday...texting in church...remember??? :) She is a beautiful girl who seemed to have touched many lives.
Please know that our hearts go out to you and your entire family. It hits so close to home as our youngest daughter, Mariah, turned 15 on Monday. May God's loving arms be felt around you in this time. And may you always know that your Arizona Pre Paid Legal Family loves you all so much....

Nikki was such an amazing person and friend. I had the privledge of knowing Nikki and hanging out with her on occasion and everytime I saw her she was always smiling. She was so fun to be around, she had such a bright, bubbly positive personality and you couldn't help but smile and laugh when you were around her. She would always smile and say hello to you in the halls at school, and it always made your day to get a smile from Nikki. I miss you so much Nikki and I can't wait to see you again. I love you so much and my prayers are with you and your family. I miss you and love you and I'll never forget you.

Nikki,
i will never forget you! you were the most amazing girl to have ever walked this earth! i still can't believe that you're gone and you'll always..always have a place in my heart. In the scriptures there is a story about Christ taking up a city into heaven because they were such great people and were too good and amzing to be on this earth so he lifted the entire city up into heaven and it stayed there for all enternity...Nikki you are like that city, you were too great of a person to stay down here...but i still want you to be here so we can laugh and have great times like we used to have, I'm very grateful that i had the privilege of meeting you and hanging out with you! i love ya and hope that you are happy and running, jumping, and tumbling up there! my heart goes out to Nikki's family and if there is anything i can do to help just let me know. Nikki i don't know what else to say i'm still speechless over this whole thing and i can't wait to see you again up there and get to talk to you!! love ya babe!

Taisha,Mike and Mikie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. remember that Nikki will always be with you. Cherish the memories of the special times you shared together. I will always remember when Nikki was younger and always wanted to tag along with big sister Taisha and my Whitney. I will never forget when I went to pick Chance up from woods cross elementary and Nikki was with him. She had a great big smile on her face and giggled as she walk away. I asked Chance what was going on, he said Nikki is in love with me. I hope that you find comfort in memories such as these to help you through this very difficult time. Taisha, I am here for you if you need anything. love Wendy Wray

Nikki was my student in sixth grade. She was always happy, always did her best, and usually did more than was required in grand style. She was a good friend to everyone. I loved seeing her at football games each week as I would enter the stadium at Bountiful High. I kept up with her that way. To her sweet family: I am so sorry for your loss. Nikki's influence will continue to live through her good friends and family, and all those who were lucky enough to know this vivacious young woman. God bless you all during this difficult time. You are in my prayers.
Sincerely,

I do not know Nikki or her family, but I also saw this story on the news and I grieve with you for the loss of such a young, beautiful girl who could have had such a promising future. Apparently God had other plans for Nikki and I hope in the coming days, months, and years, you and all who knew her will be able to find peace in your hearts and a quiet understanding of Gods will.

This touched my heart dearly. we do not know Nikki but I feel as she was to be a friend to any one and every one. She is so pretty, this is such a tradgedy but it makes you know that life is so short and to cherish every moment that you have. She is a angel and I know how bad the family is hurting and now she is watching over the family and letting other family members out there not to take a day for granite with your loved ones. I am so very sorry and my prayers are with your family. and she is in heaven smiling down and saying please family don't be sad think of all the good times, bad times the silly things she done and the times that she made you so mad. Her story touched many hearts expecailly mine.
