Norbert Hoppe Obituary
Our husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on November 5, 2016. Norbert F. Hoppe was born March 8, 1947 in Rottenbach, Austria, to Gertrude Neumann Hoppe. His family moved to Utah when he was 4 years old.
Norbert served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas. Norbert spent many years working for Gus Paulos Chevrolet.
On November 24, 1993 he married Donna McIntyre and they resided in Sandy Utah. Norbert enjoyed fishing, camping and especially his family.
He is survived by his wife, Donna and children: Marty (Tracy) McIntyre, Angie (Stephen) McIntyre, & Jodi Shurburne, grandchildren: Nicole, Parker, Aly, Collin, Paige, Brooke, Wyatt & Hunter. Two brothers: Werner (Nancy) Hoppe, Lynn (Janice) Hoppe and a sister: Bernie (Bill) Pollet. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Crescent Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. (11005 South State Street, Sandy Utah), under the supervision of the Anderson Funeral Home/Anderson Goff Mortuary Draper, Utah.
The family would like to give special thanks to the trauma and shock unit, and the staff at IMC Hospital.
