Ilene and family,
You have been good friends and neighbors for a very long time. The Vern and Marian Taylor family sends their love and support. I'm sorry we couldn't be there.

My condolences to the family. I remember Paul and his siblings and parents quite well. I know they were good friends with my older brother Gary Backer, and my parents, Reiny and Ruby. Reiny and Orson H. (Paul's dad) had a business relationship (West High Bakery and Orson H. Gygi Company) and were great friends as well. There were many deer hunting escapades over the years, and myself, my younger brother (Richard) and sister (Pat) loved visiting with Paul's parents, anxiously awaiting the OK to go down and use the pool table in the rec room. And a special hello to Lola; so sorry to hear that Wally and Wayne also have passed.

Aunt Ilene, Korene and Gary, my prayers are with you at this difficult time. I have many fond memories of the times that we gathered at Grandma's home for Thanksgiving when we were all younger. We have a great family and Uncle Paul will be missed. I'm grateful that dad, and Wally were there to greet him on the other side of the veil. I pray that you will find comfort and peace.

I wish you hope and blessings as you remember the good things and look forward to a reunion. He will be greatly missed. I remember his teasing of us as we played hide and seek around Grandma's gardens. May you feel at peace. Jana Gygi Sides (Perry and Ann's daughter)
