Pamela Dumas Obituary

Pamela Sue Dumas 1956 ~ 2010 Pamela Sue Covington Dumas, my beloved wife and friend was born on April 12, 1956 to Robert "Bob" and Betty Covington. She died on January 26, 2010 with her husband and daughter along her side. She had a heart of pure gold. Survived by husband, Lynn K. Dumas; children, Bryan (Jaime) Dumas, Brad (Marline) Dumas, Cherry M. Dumas; sisters, Penny Covington and Charlene (Louie) Arko. Pam is also survived by several grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Cherry, bless her heart, has been by Lynn's through it all. Pam is now with our Lord and Savior. I know that both of her fathers', Bob and Keith, came and guided her home with them. She is preceded in death by her father; and brothers, Keith and Craig. There will not be a funeral or viewing, as to my beloved's wishes. We will have a wake for her at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary early summer and rejoice her life on earth. She died of an inherited gene in her that destroyed her liver and lungs. The family requests no flowers or funds, please just take a minute and hug your spouse and loved ones. You never know when the Lord will call them home.

I was very blessed to know Pam, Lynn, Cherry and the rest of the Dumas clan. It was always an adventure plowing up Pinon Ridge in the winter. Pam always met me with a cheerful attitude even though she wasn't well. She will be missed. My sincere condolences, Judy Slaugh ( the UPS girl)
